Create your first social proof campaign

Click the Add Your First Site button . On the next page, you can add your site name and domain and save your settings.

At this point, the next step is to create your first campaign.

In your TrustPulse WordPress dashboard, you will see a green Create Campaign button .

This will take you to the TrustPulse campaign builder, where you’ll start on the Campaign Type tab . Here you can add a name to your campaign and select your website.

Below that, you will have 4 options to choose the campaign type:

  1. Recent Activity shows live actions people have taken on your site, such as purchases or signups.
  2. On-Fire will display actions from large austria phone number library groups on your website within a certain period of time
  3. Visitor Analytics shows the number of page views on your website
  4. Action Message displays a single notification to encourage visitors to take a specific action

Depending on your goals, you might choose On-Fire if you’re expecting a lot of conversions at once. It will show you stats like “100 people have purchased in the last 7 days.” On-Fire is great for building buzz if you’re running a flash sale.

On the other hand, Recent Activity shows you the activity of people signing up to your email list or making purchases in real time. If you don’t have any products to sell or an email list, you can show all kinds of activity, like eBook downloads, blog post views, and even when someone leaves a review.

Recent Activity is very effective in inspiring FOMO in new users of your website. Therefore, we will select this option.

Now, click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page to customize your campaign.

Step 3: Customize your social proof campaign

You should now be on the “Design & Appearance” tab, where you can add the visitor name and message text.

TrustPulse will automatically detect the visitor’s name from their purchase information. If it can’t detect the name, it will default to the title you enter in the “Refer to visitors as” field.

Next, you can also make your popups clickable by adding a message link. This allows you to take visitors directly to your opt-in form or product page.

You can also see a live preview of your campaign in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click the Next Step button to continue. You’ll be taken to a new page where you can choose how to capture website activity. There are three options:

  • AutoMagic
  • Zapier
  • WooCommerce Orders

When you select AutoMagic , TrustPulse automatically tracks user activity and submissions on your site. You don’t need to do anything else.

In this step, you’ll configure how you want AutoMagic to work. Click the drop-down arrow and select which of your form activities you want it to capture. You also have the option to add your pages manually by typing in the URL.

Once you click the Next Step button, you’ll be taken to the Display Rules settings . Here you can configure where you want your successful submissions to be sent. You’ll also have the option to choose how often notifications appear on your website for new submissions.

You can choose the duration of each pop-up what are the types of e-commerce? notification and also add a delay between pop-ups. If you want more options, open the advanced settings tab.

When you’re done adjusting your display settings , the Next Step button will take you to the final screen.
